"description": "As this tender is to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) style of framework the closing date stated of $th Feb is just to establish the initial framework and not a definitive deadline. Shortly after this date the opportunity to join the framework will reopen for anyone who didn't apply before this date. This will remain open for the term of the framework. Any mini competitions run under the framework will only be open to those suppliers on the framework at that moment in time. NOTE: You must register your interest in this notice to obtain any additional information as the buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this PQQ exercise. The Project code is 30520. Our SDP expert will follow the bidder journey- live online, to register interest, access the tender documents, demonstrate how to use PCS/ PCS-T portals, how to use the Q&A functionality to communicate with the buyer, answer the SPD questions and submit the bid electronically. The buyer is using PCS-Tender to conduct this PQQ exercise. The Project code is 30520. For more information see: http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/info/InfoCentre.aspx?ID=2343 The Contracting Authority does not intend to include a sub-contract clause as part of community benefits (as per Section 25 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014) in this contract for the following reason: The individual call offs will be vastly reduced from this figure and will be targeted across the local market anyway, so to apply such a clause may be detrimental to what we're trying to achieve. Community benefits are included in this requirement. For more information see: https://www.gov.scot/policies/public-sector-procurement/community-benefits-in-procurement/ A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows: Community Benefits requirements will be relevant and proportionate to each of the individual call offs and will be clearly set out with the mini competition documents at that time.
