Community benefits are included in this requirement. For more information see: https://www.gov.scot/policies/public-sector-procurement/community-benefits-in-procurement/ A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows: The Association expects contractors to demonstrate a strong and measurable commitment to delivering wider social value throughout the duration of the contract. This includes providing meaningful community benefits that support local residents and organisations, offering apprenticeship and training opportunities, and prioritising the use of local labour to contribute to community wealth building. Contractors should clearly outline how they will support skills development, engage with local employability partners and maintain a trained and competent workforce. In addition, bidders must evidence how their service delivery aligns with environmental sustainability and Scotland's Net Zero objectives, including reducing waste, promoting recycling, minimising fleet emissions and integrating sustainable working practices into reactive and void operations. High-scoring submissions will present clear, achievable and well-structured proposals demonstrating how these commitments will be delivered, monitored and reported.
