Notice Description

Aberdeenshire Council on behalf of Aberdeenshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership is considering options for a service that would provide holistic, trauma-informed support to family members, including but not limited to parents, carers, partners, children and other affected relatives. The service would include: One-to-one and group-based emotional and practical support for family members affected by alcohol and/or drug use Trauma-informed, rights-based and whole-family approaches Information, advocacy and navigation of wider services Practical support and advice on how best to support a family members recovery whilst taking care of yourself Support to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and build resilience Close partnership working with alcohol and drug recovery services, children's services and other local support.

Aberdeenshire Council on behalf of Aberdeenshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership is considering options for a service that would provide holistic, trauma-informed support to family members, including but not limited to parents, carers, partners, children and other affected relatives. The service would include: One-to-one and group-based emotional and practical support for family members affected by alcohol and/or drug use Trauma-informed, rights-based and whole-family approaches Information, advocacy and navigation of wider services Practical support and advice on how best to support a family members recovery whilst taking care of yourself Support to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and build resilience Close partnership working with alcohol and drug recovery services, children's services and other local support. The Organisation must have the ability to commence this service on 1 April 2026. This is not a call for competition.. If you wish to express an interest please submit a brief outlining experience of delivering similar services, with potential delivery models or considerations within Aberdeenshire.
