To provide Type I, II and III debt and money advice services to the residents of Aberdeenshire

Lot 1

The provider shall provide at Type I, II as well as Type III which is Advocacy, Representation and Mediation at Tribunal or Court Action Level. As defined by the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers Quality Assurance Framework (SNSIAP) 2009) and ensure compliance with relevant accreditation schemes as administered and introduced by the Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) The service delivered will be accessible to residents across Aberdeenshire by providing them with a modernised service delivery model that shall: Provide impartial high-quality confidential debt advice. Use a variety of service delivery methods including face to face, telephone services and digital platforms. Provide Specialist advice including negotiating with creditors, advice on bankruptcy and the debt arrangement scheme. Provide Outreach advice sessions including home visits to housebound residents, giving priority to those living in remote and rural areas. Provide Recruitment, training and support of volunteers. Provide accurate and consistent responsible advice in a manner that is cost effective, flexible, accountable and accessible. Support the Aberdeenshire Tackling Poverty & Inequalities Partnership to reduce Child Poverty across Aberdeenshire through supplying data of services delivered to families, Deliver quality standards set out in the "Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers: A Quality Assurance Framework 2009" at appropriate levels. Deliver the expectations of the Scottish Government's Common Advice Performance Management Framework (CAPMF)

Renewal: Subject to budget being available and performance measures having been met an extension period is available of 12 months and then a further 12 months after a review of the service has taken place.
