SLC/FC/24/099 Direct Award for Utilities for the Supply of Gas for SLC and SLLC under the Natural Gas Framework
Notice Description
The Council currently have an ongoing requirement for the supply of Natural Gas and have previously called-off from The Scottish Government Natural Gas Framework (SP-17-031). This current contract is due to expire on 31 March 2025 (CRN SLC/PS/FINCOR/22/138) and must be renewed in order to cover this requirement. The Council are proposing to utilise the new iteration, The Scottish Procurement Supply of Natural Gas Framework, (SP-23-03). The Framework commenced on 1 April 2024 for trading of Natural Gas only, with a start date for supply of Natural Gas from 01 April 2025.

Lot 1
The Council had previously called-off from The Scottish Government Natural Gas Framework (SP-17-031). Procurement Information
The Framework detailed above is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation All contractors have been assessed under Single Procurement Document (SPD) during the appointment process. TotalEnergies Gas and Power Ltd is the sole supplier on the above Scottish Procurement Framework. Tender Compliance: There is no requirement for Customers to undertake a tender process as the contract has been through a full OJEU compliant tendering process. This route saves Customers resource and money which would otherwise be spent undertaking a compliant tendering exercise. This also removes the risk of challenges over non-compliant contractual positions
