To be considered for the contract bidders must have a demonstrable track record of maximising grant income for projects above benchmark. The successful company must be willing to work on a speculative pro bono basis on projects for a period of time until a decision is made on their progression. When projects are green lit, the Development Consultant will be required to appoint and manage the other Design Team professionals that are required to successfully deliver the project.

River Clyde Homes are seeking to appoint a highly competent and experienced Development Consultant to provide advice on social housing development opportunities and facilitate delivery in potentially both new build and regeneration activities. To be considered for the contract bidders must have a demonstrable track record of maximising grant income for projects above benchmark. The successful company must be willing to work on a speculative pro bono basis on projects for a period of time until a decision is made on their progression. When projects are green lit, the Development Consultant will be required to appoint and manage the other Design Team professionals that are required to successfully deliver the project. As part of their tender response, bidders are required to detail the proposed Design Team members they would engage with, should they be successful in being awarded the contract. Interested parties must first evidence to River Clyde Homes via the SPD that they have the requisite technical capacity, and experience to undertake works of this nature before they will be taken forward to the full tender evaluation.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial two-year duration. RCH may wish at its sole discretion to extend any resultant agreement for up to a further two, twelve-month periods subject to the agreement of the successful bidder.
