Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority (NPA) is seeking to appoint an experienced consultant or consultant team to undertake a feasibility study into the role of water transport as part of a more integrated, inclusive and low-carbon transport network across the National Park. The study will assess opportunities for water buses and water taxis to better connect key locations, complement existing leisure cruise operations, integrate with rail, bus, active travel and shared mobility options, and support reduced car dependency. It will identify viable routes, operating models, infrastructure requirements, costs, risks and delivery mechanisms, resulting in a practical phased implementation plan for future water transport provision.
