The Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Wash Bay Ramp/Hoist
Notice Description
The Councils Community and Enterprise Resources, Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services have a requirement to purchase a new vehicle wash bay ramp/hoist as the existing wash bay is beyond economical repair. The wash bay ramp/hoist is required to support the effective cleaning of fleet vehicle undercarriages in preparation for MOT testing.

Lot 1
To ensure best value for the Council, the Council's Procurement Service determined that the most appropriate route to market was an Open Tender Procedure. A Contract Notice was issued via Public Contracts Scotland on 25 March 2026. Tenders were invited on a Price/Quality basis. The following weightings were used to determine the most economically advantageous tender:- Quality (Technical): 20% Price (Commercial): 80% The successful bidder was the one which achieved the highest combined price/quality score. The mechanism for assessing tenders was comprehensively detailed within the 'Evaluation of Tenders' document contained within the tender process but can be summarised as follows: Stage 1 - Qualification Response Stage 2 - Technical Response Stage 3 - Commercial Response
