Lot Information
Lot 1
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority (NPA) is seeking to appoint an experienced consultant or consultant team to conduct a study to identify the best opportunities in our long-distance routes to improve access, restore nature and inspire a deeper engagement with nature both during and after users visit. The study will include the Park's three major long-distance routes - the West Highland Way, the Rob Roy Way, and The Great Trossachs Path, as well as other long-distance routes that are within or are adjacent to a new Landscape Connections initiative area. The commission will assess opportunities, constraints, demand and delivery requirements, culminating in an options appraisal and phased delivery plan that sets out practical short-, medium- and long-term actions to support sustainable travel, nature-rich experiences and long-term stewardship of the National Park's woodland mosaic. Funding for this commission is provided by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, as part of the Landscape Connections initiative.
