Description: We operate a network of around 300 automatic weather stations (AWS), mostly in the UK, but also a small number overseas. The weather observation data collected at these sites is collated on a logger at site and then communicated every minute to our central cloud based system in real time. Some sites have mains power, some operate on a 50W solar panel. The majority of sites have 4G connectivity, but there are a subset that only have 2G connectivity at present. We are looking for a supplier to provide a communications solution to allow for the real time transfer of our land surface observation data to our central cloud based collection system every minute in real time.

Remote CCTV - all fleet

Description: London Northwestern and West Midlands Railway (Operated by WM Trains Limited) are seeking to procure a cloud-based system that allows remote access to CCTV images recorded and stored in the on-board Network Video Recorders (NVR) fitted to selected train fleets within the London Northwestern and West Midlands Railway fleet or links to third party servers where CCTV has been remotely downloaded to on the fleets that are already equipped with remote NVR access. Summary: WM Trains Limited intends to procure an enterprise-grade, cloud-hosted video management system for the London Northwestern and West Midlands Railway fleets. The service will provide remote access to, searching of and evidence handling for CCTV images recorded on selected trains’ onboard Network Video Recorders, or held on third-party servers after remote download. It will integrate with legacy on-train camera systems and onboard recording equipment.
