Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves the Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, which acted as the lead authority for the Level Access Shower Installation Framework Agreement as part of the HEART partnership. This project falls under the main category of works, specifically in the building construction industry, and includes various associated tasks. The awarded contract, valued at £4,250,000, has its contract period running from 1 March 2019 to 28 February 2021. This tender followed an open procedure, aimed at fostering competitive bidding, and was divided into three lots covering different geographic areas within Warwickshire.

This tender presents significant opportunities for companies that specialise in building construction and refurbishment work, particularly those with experience in residential facilities and bathroom installations. Businesses that can adapt to ad-hoc and responsive project needs may find this tender particularly attractive, as continuity of work is not guaranteed. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, and firms with the capability to cater to the specific requirements listed in the tender are likely to thrive in this competitive bidding process.
