Notice Description

The UK Space Agency has commissioned technical support to ensure that the working level technical activities of the space standards bodies; Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS), Inter- Operability Advisory Group (IOAG) and European Ground System - Common Core (EGS-CC) are supported. This work will be carried out in a coordination and sometimes advisory function, but one at a very technical level that demands key competences - technical knowledge, organisational or individual qualifications in space engineering, operations, and applications themselves. Providers of this technical support are required to be suitably objective and independent from financial involvement in the markets covered by the relevant standards - a requirement mandated by the standards agreements themselves. Total Opportunity value was estimated at PS880,000 across 3 lots (3 contracts), for up to 4 years (1 year +1+1+1) for each lot. Actual contract values are as follows; Lot 1: Technical Support - Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) - The contract duration is 1 year with the provision to extend the contract annually by 1 additional year up to a maximum of 3 additional years (1 year+1+1+1). The value of the contract for year 1 is PS49,991 which shall also be the maximum annual value of any additional years added, up to the maximum contract value of PS199,964 (1 year +1+1+1) Lot 2: Technical Support - Inter Operability Advisory Group (IOAG) - The contract duration is 1 year with the provision to extend the contract annually by 1 additional year up to a maximum of 3 additional years (1 year+1+1+1). The value of the contract for year 1 is PS70,000 which shall also be the maximum annual value of any additional years added, up to the maximum contract value of PS280,000 (1 year+1+1+1) Lot 3: Technical Support - European Ground System - Common Core (EGS-CC) - The contract duration is 1 year with the provision to extend the contract annually by 1 additional year up to a maximum of 3 additional years (1 year+1+1+1).
