Summary of the contracting process

Durham County Council is conducting a procurement process titled "DurhamWorks Provider Panel for Employment Routeways (2020-2021)." This initiative is aimed at delivering tailored support to 16-24-year-old participants who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). The procurement, classified under the education and training services industry, employs an open procedure method. The tender period concluded on 2 January 2020, and the contract period runs from 9 March 2020 to 31 May 2020. It has a minimum value of £100,000 and a total estimated value of £700,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for organisations aiming to support youth employment initiatives. Businesses that focus on education and training services, particularly those experienced in working with NEET populations, would be well-suited to compete. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, as the procurement process is designed to be inclusive and open to a wide range of service providers, including those based outside of County Durham.
