Summary of the contracting process

Health Education England is conducting a procurement process for the "Health Education England - Digital Leadership Research Study", classified under education and training services. The project is currently at the planning stage with a tender period that ends on 20 January 2022. The contract is expected to begin on 31 January 2022 and conclude on 31 March 2022. This procurement will be conducted through a direct award to Make It Happen Solutions (MIH), who are regarded as the only suitable provider capable of fulfilling the specific requirements outlined for the Digital Readiness programme. The initiative will take place in Leeds, England, with a total value of £30,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in educational services and digital leadership. Organisations with strong expertise in digital training methodologies and a proven track record in leadership development may find this procurement especially relevant. Additionally, businesses that can demonstrate the ability to quickly mobilise resources in response to urgent project needs will be well-positioned to compete, given the limitations set within this direct award process. Engaging in this opportunity could help enhance visibility and establish valuable partnerships within the healthcare sector.

Notice Title

Health Education England - Digital Leadership Research Study

Notice Description

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Make It Happen Solutions (MIH) The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. Heath Education England [HEE] believe that MIH is the only organisation capable of providing support such as to meet specific requirements of the HEE national Digital Readiness programme HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by MIH as a current supplier for the following reasons: * The only supplier who has immediate access to the networks and databases relating to the digital leadership programmes * Ability to work at pace and on demand to meet the urgent needs of researching the programmes to understand the direction for future delivery In the event that MIH are unable to provide dedicated services, there will be a detrimental impact on HEE service delivery for a number of reasons: * Significant delay to the delivery of projects where MIH is the only supplier, due to their positioning within the community and expertise. This might include the delivery of service improvement projects. This will result in the loss of important information which could contribute to improving both education and training and quality of care now and in the future. * NHS organisations will be met by increased pressure as the digital agenda continues to grow in importance and relevance to the workforce, quality of care could be affected if appropriate leadership is not in place to support and devlop the digital workforce. * Stakeholder engagement will be adversely impacted if HEE are unable to utilise the contacts and networks owned and facilitated by MIH.
