Notice Title

Ubitricity On-Street Residential Electric Vehicle Charging Pilot Scheme

Notice Description

To approve the direct award of a concession contract to Ubitricity, (a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell) to supply, install and operate one hundred (100) 5kw vehicle charging points across the City of Doncaster. This offer is niche for two reasons: 1) Ubitricity's competitors offer higher power / faster charging options at 7KW plus. 2) This is a fully funded option and the only cost to the Council is maintenance and repairs due to vandalism or damage. To look at alternative unfunded items it is estimated that it would cost the Council PS212,500
