Notice Description

Shopmobility is a service that provides a range of manual wheelchairs and electric scooters to Dacorum residents and visitors that have mobility issues in Hemel Hempstead town centre. The primary role of this service is to loan mobility equipment to people with temporary or permanent mobility issues in order to provide them with improved access to the facilities in Hemel Hempstead town centre. The service provider will be required to maintain the quality of the mobility equipment in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the service users. Members of staff must deliver with excellent customer service at all times. More specifically, they must provide service users with the most appropriate vehicle for them and train them before it is taken out. TUPE may apply, and anonymised TUPE data is available on request via the correspondence function of the portal. Companies interested in tendering for this service will need to register on the Supply Hertfordshire portal www.supplyhertfordshire.uk Please submit your completed Tender document via the Council's e-tendering portal no later than 12 noon 18 September 2017. Any tender submitted either manually or by email will not be accepted.
