Short Description: This tender is for three Cornwall Council Disabled Children's Short Breaks contracts, the PIN notices for which were previously published under separate cover: Pro-Social Learning Activities for Children Diagnosed with Asperger's / Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) (Lot 1) Previous Reference number: DN543079 Previous Publication reference: 2021/S 000-016562 Group Activities for Children and Young People with Sensory Loss (Lot 2) Previous Reference number: DN543085 Previous Publication reference: 2021/S 000-016560 Disabled Children's Play Scheme and Youth Groups (Lot 3) Previous Reference number: DN543081 Previous Publication reference: 2021/S 000-016561 Lot 1 - Pro-Social Learning Activities for Children Diagnosed with Asperger's / Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) Short break services for disabled children and young people diagnosed with Asperger's / Autistic Spectrum Condition to meet statutory duties, national guidance, local strategic priorities and best practice. The provision of pro-social learning activities for children diagnosed with Asperger's/Autistic Spectrum Condition. The current contract requires the provision of: * A short break service in the form of weekly sessions for children and young people who attend mainstream school with a diagnosis of Asperger's / Autistic Spectrum Condition ages 8-18. * Sessions which focus on the development of social skills and to support individuals to develop skills to independently attend mainstream activities / clubs that they have an interest in. * Fun and positive short break opportunities where children and young people feel safe, are encouraged and supported to develop new friendships Lot 2 - Group Activities for Children and Young People with Sensory Loss The contract aims to provide a range of fun and positive experiences for disabled children and young people aged 11-19 years who have a single or dual sensory impairment and additional complex needs. The service is expected to deliver a county wide provision: * 2 days per month (term time) / 72 days or 1080 hours * 1 day per week (holiday period) / 16 weeks or 120 hours. * The service requirement is for a minimum of 24 individuals with sensory impairments or other complex needs throughout Cornwall. Lot 3 - Disabled Children's Play Scheme and Youth Groups The aim of this service is to deliver: * An Activity Play Scheme for Children with a disability aged 5-18 years. The Activity Play Scheme currently supports children with a wide range of disabilities. * Countywide youth groups, covering the East, Mid and West of Cornwall for disabled children and young people aged 14 - 25. * Targeted activity days for children and young people with more complex and profound conditions will be delivered as part of this service. The provider will be required to manage the referrals for access to the service.
