Notice Description

The London Borough of Newham is inviting tenders for its Interim Weight Management Programmes for: Lot 1 Cooking classes and Physical Activity for Adults and Lot 2: Supporting residents with learning disabilities and/or mental/physical health issues (and their carers) to cook healthy food on a budget and lose weight. The aim is to encourage and work with local voluntary and community sector organisations to build community capacity for sustainable weight loss around healthy cooking skills, shopping on a budget and more targeted weight loss interventions for adults and residents with learning disabilities and/or mental physical health issues. The tender will be evaluated based on 100% Quality. Bidders should be aware that, regardless of their price, to be considered for award of this contract they must achieve a qualitative evaluation score of no less than 60%, (equivalent to a weighted score of 60 out of 100). Bids that exceed the costs of Lot 1 - PS70,000 (exclusive of extension) and Lot 2 - PS25,000 (exclusive of extension) will be rejected by the Council.
