Summary of the contracting process

Nottingham City Council is inviting tenders for the "CPU6930 Changing Futures" project, aimed at providing essential services to individuals experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) within Nottingham, United Kingdom. The procurement falls under the Education and Training Services (CPV 80000000) and Health and Social Work Services (CPV 85000000) categories. The tender process is currently active and follows the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The procurement method is Open Procedure (above threshold), and organisations can submit their bids until 8 November 2024. The contract, valued at a maximum of £11,051,905, will start on 1 April 2025 and could extend up to five years, subject to funding. This contract is split into two Lots: the Main Delivery Service (MDS) and the Partnership Learning Hub (PLH), inviting bids for either or both.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses, especially those with expertise in social services, health, and education. Companies capable of handling intensive case management, multi-disciplinary team setups, and peer mentoring stand to benefit from the Main Delivery Service. Meanwhile, organisations focused on training and systemic learning may find the Partnership Learning Hub more aligned with their strengths. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to participate. Successful bidders will contribute to a project that not only aids vulnerable populations but also has potential for future funding expansions, allowing for further business development and service enhancements.
