Notice Description

IBM Maximo is used by BAS to manage critical assets in Antarctica and UKRI research ships. It is also used to capture accident reporting, environmental data along with permit to work system. Maximo is also used for cargo management and reordering inventory supplies (food and fuel etc.) for Antarctica thus is pivotal to UKRI safe operation in Antarctica. The Contract was awarded following a Direct Award procedure without prior publication, in accordance with regulation 32, (2), (b), (ii) Competition is absent for technical reasons, of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
