Notice Description

Scope of Contract The contract will cover a 3-year period and deliver the programme for 3 cohorts during that period, but subject to formal annual reviews. The contract will include programme design, delivery, supporting learning materials and administrative support. In addition to costs associated with developing the programme, the bidder will be expected to absorb all non-venue costs and expenses associated with delivery, including, but not limited to, administrative support, faculty travel, accommodation and catering costs (except where catering is provided at the venue as part of the formal event programme) within their quotation. Meeting rooms, refreshments and catering (where applicable) at Southern House will be made available to accommodate the WCR programme at no charge to the bidder, subject to sufficient notice. Should Southern House no longer be an option then HEE will source a suitable, value-for-money alternative venue at no additional cost to the bidder. It is anticipated that the equivalent of at least 5 full day facilitated sessions would be delivered for each cohort over the duration of the contract. Your bid should be based around face-to-face delivery for facilitated modules, unless you are able to justify suitable alternatives, and even where face-to-face delivery is selected as the format, there must be contingency in place to switch to virtual delivery as necessary. Detailed Requirements - Providers and delivery. HEE Wessex is looking to commission a provider or consortium of education providers who can demonstrate an ability: - To provide a vocational programme of educational activity rooted within service provision, Trust operating environments and the role of a Chief Resident. - To provide a model of educational activity that incorporates both taught content and practical experience and reflection, utilising technology enhanced learning where appropriate, in a manner which retains the ethos of maximising opportunities for participation and accessibility, and complements the learning that the Chief Residents gain through leadership practice in their hosting organisations. - To highlight how they will ensure strong local partnerships with employers that may be interested in accessing this education development to develop their Chief Residents. - This work should be undertaken in a way that: - Is congruent with the NHS values and constitution and is inclusive in its direction. - Aligns with existing HEE resources and Trust resources. -. Education providers should demonstrate, how they plan to deliver training: - To be accessible for trainees, including enabling trainees to access resources to reduce the amount of travel required, - To ensure any additional needs regarding learning can be supported and reasonable adjustments made. - That uses blended learning models where appropriate. - Education providers will be expected describe any accreditation that can be attained on the WCR Programme. - Collaborative
