Summary of the contracting process

The Nottinghamshire County Council is currently planning a tender titled "Soft Market Testing for Kinship Care," which focuses on health and social work services. The procurement stage is in the planning phase, with an engagement end date set for 1st July 2021, by 12:00 noon. The opportunities will be based in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom, requiring interested organisations to register on the East Midlands Tendering Portal, Pro-Contract, to access further documentation.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses looking to expand in the health and social care sector, particularly those that can provide insights or services related to family support and peer networks for kinship carers. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be well-suited to compete in this market, as their flexibility and community-oriented approaches can bring valuable perspectives to shaping the new contract.
