Notice Title

Market Engagement for Integrated Community Dermatology Services for Castle Point and Rochford and Southend CCGs

Notice Description

Castle Point and Rochford and Southend CCGs are currently collaborating on a procurement project for Integrated Community Dermatology Services. This service development has arisen from the need to deliver sustainable acute care in response to the increasing number of referrals to the acute provider for dermatology treatment, and an acknowledgement that the existing community service contract has expired. The aim of the service is to reduce the number of patients receiving their dermatological services within an acute hospital environment and maximise the appropriate provision of diagnosis, treatment and management of skin conditions by offering a cost-effective community service for those patients who can be appropriately assessed and managed outside a hospital environment. The purpose of the engagement is not only to support providers to better understand the requirements of the Essex commissioners but also to use the knowledge of the market to design services which are in the best needs of our service users. With this in mind we are holding 1:1 workshops with providers where we aim to cover the following areas: * An overview of the existing provision of services and the current challenges * Aims and objectives of the new Community Dermatology Service * Innovation within the Dermatology Sector * Delivery of the new model of service within a Community setting The workshops will take place on Friday 5th May at Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group, Pearl House, 12 Castle Road, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 7QF. Should you wish to attend providers are asked to register on the Bravo portal (link below) and follow the instructions in order to submit an expression of interest. Once registered you will be able to download the draft specification of services and the questions we would like you to consider prior to the 1:1 session. Attendees should have the right knowledge and expertise to actively participate in conversations. The slides and write up of the discussions will be made available after the workshops. The closing date for responses to this opportunity is Wednesday 3rd May 2017. https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html Additional information: All documents relating to this opportunity are available via the link below https://attain.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html
