Summary of the contracting process

The Efficiency East Midlands Limited (EEM) is initiating the procurement process for the "Property Improvement Works Framework", aimed at providing property improvement and repair services across various sectors including housing associations and local authorities. This open tender is currently in the planning stage, with a total budget of £40 million anticipated for the contract period from 3rd June 2019 to 2nd June 2023. Prospective bidders are advised to prepare for participation, as the future notice of the tender is scheduled for publication on 28th February 2018.

This framework presents significant growth opportunities for contractors specialising in building alterations and refurbishment work. Businesses with capabilities in a broad array of property improvement works, including but not limited to domestic and commercial renovations, plumbing, heating systems, and general construction, would be well-positioned to compete. As EEM seeks multiple contractors without splitting the works into trade-specific lots, firms offering comprehensive services are particularly encouraged to apply for this substantial contract.
