Lead Employer Services - HEE North West Request for Information (RFI) from Health Education England Your views may help shape new services Background Health Education England working across the North West (HEE NW) is a Local Office of Health Education England (HEE). HEE is the national leadership organisation which exists to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place. Originally established as a Special Health Authority in 2012, HEE is now a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB), as of 1 April 2015, under the provisions of the Care Act 2014. HEE has regional Local Offices across England which are responsible for the training and education of NHS staff, both clinical and non-clinical, within their area. Working across the North West, HEE NW aims to provide high quality education and training to all health professionals including the next generation of doctors, dentists and nurses across the area. To do this effectively and to ensure the best possible outcomes and experience for patients and people, we work closely with local healthcare providers and key stakeholders so that our work is driven by patient needs. One of the responsibilities of HEE NW is the organisation, management and quality assurance of postgraduate training to doctors and dentists in regulatory (General Medical Council or General Dental Council) approved training posts across the North West. Lot 1: * Specialty & Dental Trainees (4534) - these are in approved training posts within acute trusts, mental health organisations, primary care dental services, hospices, local authorities and ALBs across the North West Lot 2 * General Practice Trainees(2004) - these are in approved training posts within acute trusts, mental health organisations and GP practices across the North West Request for Information The Commissioners value your views and would like to ask a number of set questions included within the RFI form on the portal as linked below: https://health-family-contract-search.secure.force.com/?SearchType=Projects The deadline for responses is Friday 7th January 2022 at midday.
