The main provisions of the service is to: *Ensure that members of the public can obtain a taxi as soon as is practicably possible. *Ensure that members of the public are safe when waiting for a licensed vehicle or other means of transport. *To ensure that members of the public get in the correct licensed vehicle if they have pre-booked a fare. *To report any possible breaches of taxi legislation. *To engage with licensed premises when setting up any taxi marshalling scheme. The estimated value (based on 2018 figures) is PS16,000 per annum and the Contract term is 12 months with the option to extend a further 2 years in 12 month increments. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
