The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is committed to supporting people in fulfilling their potential. In doing so we want to ensure the right local services are available that promote independence, are responsive and flexible and informed by the local people. A review of the current short break (respite) provision available locally has identified a need to develop a more sustainable, innovative and varied offer of short breaks to carers of people with learning disabilities. The information requested as part of a soft market testing exercise aims to seek the market's views on the development of a local model of short break services, the capacity of the market to supply these services, and the level of interest in from the market in supplying these services in the future. Additional information: Questionnaires should be returned via the London Tenders Portal on Friday 27th July 2018
