UK SBS RE17001 Boulby Liquid Nitrogen Generator

Notice Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Monday 23rd January 2017 at 14:00 am DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. STFC are seeking a liquid nitrogen delivery system to reliably supply 400 litres per week of liquid nitrogen (under 1% Oxygen Content) produced from ambient air to a suite of Germanium detectors installed and operated at their Boulby Underground Laboratory - the UK's 1.1km deep underground science facility operating in a working mine (Boulby Mine) in the North East of England. The items need to be delivered, installed and commissioned in the laboratory by the end of March 2017. Follow-on maintenance capability is also a requirement. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document. How to Apply As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS will be using the CCS eSourcing Suite for this procurement.
