Notice Title

e-Portfolio for Health and Care Professionals Working Towards Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) Recognition

Notice Description

HEE wishes to enter into a contract with an organization to provide an e-portfolio service for an initial two years for a number of groups of learners/professionals working towards and beyond ACP recognition in a number of specialties. Significantly, this is a new approach and we will be piloting, learning from and iterating based on user experience. We will be flexible about the solution to our proposal and expect the successful supplier to be flexible and responsive to our developing requirements. Subject to what we learn during the first two years of operation, we are likely to seek either extension or re-procurement of the e-portfolio contract. We are looking for a well-established product with abundant functionality (some of which we may not have thought of ourselves) and a strong client/user community, run by an organisation with extensive experience in supporting (and capacity to support) clients and end users. a. Number of learners We do not, nor do we expect to, have an exact number of learners who will use the ACP e-portfolio. The numbers below are fair estimates and should be used to assemble supplier quotes. Year 1: 250 learners + assessors, supervisors and administrators Year 2: 1000 learners + assessors, supervisors and administrators b.Evaluation objectives include: -Functionality* -A customisable off-the-shelf product that can be mobilised without the need for extra development -Ability to support a number of capability frameworks and levels of training/capability using a 'pick and choose' modular approach for each learner - the system should support the practitioner on a career long journey -Ability to connect as "social" professional groups -Ability to upload a variety of files (for example documents, images, videos) -Milestone/timeline indicator and dashboard Tenders comprising all the documents requested MUST be submitted via the 'Supplying to the NHS' Portal, www.supplying2nhs.org no later than Monday, 26th November at 14:00 hours using the My Response section within the Invitation to Tender, Due-North ProContract Reference DN374183
