Notice Description

The Community Equipment Store supply equipment to prevent Hospital Admission and allow Hospital Discharge, often under incredibly tight deadlines. We also provide equipment to allow people to live independently within their own homes, delivering equipment for Health and Social Care Services. Last year figures. (Does not include walking aids). * 8745 Clients. * 20,027 bookings. * 36,633 items delivered. We require suppliers to deliver equipment reliably and at an economical price for Wigan Residents. To maintain our service of 32% of deliveries being delivered the day of request, we need our supplier of ADL equipment to hold and deliver equipment on time. This allows us to maintain our current level of deliveries. Currently we deliver 90% of equipment prescriptions within 3 working days. Support from our suppliers is key to our success.
