Notice Title

Junior Attendance Centre Contract (July 2024-June 2025)

Notice Description

H&F are seeking interest from the market on the following one year service to be mobilised imminently: A Junior Attendance Centre (JAC) programme focusses on supporting the reduction of reoffending for young people aged 10-17 through enabling development of social and practical skills to achieve positive outcomes. A requirement to attend a JAC is available as a standalone or additional requirement of a Youth Rehabilitation Order under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008, or as a consequence of breach in respect of a range of court orders. Therefore, this provision supports the Hammersmith & Fulham Youth Justice Service to meet KPIs to minimise the use of custody by providing an alternative recommendation to a custodial sentence. The programme is run on Saturdays, fortnightly between 10am and 12pm. The JAC offers a direct alternative to custody, young people can also be referred for JAC as part of a bail support package or Remand to Local Authority Accommodation conditions, offering a robust community option as an alternative to these young people otherwise being remanded into custody (at a significant cost). Suppliers that have capacity and resource to mobilise this contract within the borough immediately are invited to express their interest. You will need to register on www.capitalEsourcing.com to express interest. Additional information: There is a requirement for the provider to offer certified qualifications and education and life skills training in the following areas: -Citizenship and inclusion -Safety of self and others -Maintaining health -Strengthening ties -Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
