Summary of the contracting process

The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London, is currently inviting tenders for an "Exhibition Framework Agreement: Packing, Transport & Storage," comprising two lots aimed at providing services for exhibition-specific and inter-site packing and transportation. This tender is in the planning stage and has a tender period ending on 17th June 2020, with a contract duration spanning four years from 3rd August 2020 to 2nd August 2024. The procurement process involves estimating the total value over this period, although it is not guaranteed, and it falls under the museum services category (CPV Code: 92521000).

This opportunity presents a significant prospect for businesses specialising in logistics, packing, and museum-related services, particularly those that can cater to both national and international requirements. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to apply, as the tender specifies suitability for such businesses. Companies that have experience in handling artefacts and exhibitions, or who can facilitate efficient transport between various museum sites within the UK, will find a strong fit within this contract, potentially leading to long-term partnerships in the arts and cultural sector.
