Notice Title
C21279 - Industrial Cleaning Services of Detection Technology Shelters in Northern France
Notice Description
The Buyer is the Home Office acting through Border Force. It is a Health and Safety requirement that operatives work in a clean and safe working environment. To maintain this environment the search shelters need to be cleaned at all ports in Northern France annually. This will satisfy the French and UK Union Regulation, providing assurance that shelters are fit for purpose through a thorough industrial clean. The search shelters at Juxtaposed locations are in use continuously 24/7, 365 days a year. Over time dirt, dust and grease build up over the interior surfaces. Whilst some shelters have ventilation, particulates from vehicle engines settle and build up on surfaces such as walls, floors and ceilings. Therefore industrial cleaning services shall be required for the mandatory cleaning of the fabricated shelter interior by high pressure jet washing or suitable cleaning methods. This opportunity is open to suppliers from the United Kingdom and Europe. Additional information: Suppliers able to offer the required services as detailed in the description are requested to send an email, expressing their interest in the opportunity to the Detection Technology Mailbox (detectiontechnologyprocurement@homeoffice.gov.uk) by 17:00 BST on 26/08/2022.Following a confirmation of their interest in this opportunity, potential Suppliers will be asked to complete a bidding tool for evaluation and acceptance of Authority terms and conditions. The following terms and conditions will apply:https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/short-form-terms-and-conditionsFurther details of required information from Suppliers will be made available after the close date - 26/08/2022.The Authority reserves the right to withdraw or change this requirement during any stage of this process.
