Notice Description

Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Hertfordshire Constabulary (BCH) are responsible for policing their respective counties. Several of the three counties' functions are collaborated including the Major Crime Unit, Roads Policing, Armed Policing, Dogs Unit, Human Resources and with plans for other departments/units progressing. The Occupational Health, Safety & Wellbeing Unit (OHSWU) within BCH are seeking providers to supply experienced Psychologists to provide their services to BCH. The aim of the Psychologist Services is to maximise the Officer and staff resources available for the effective delivery of policing, by efficiently contributing to a reduction in sickness absence and ill health retirements, through: * Ensuring Officers and staff are medically fit for duties. * Contributing to the maintenance of staff wellbeing. * Fulfilling organisational duty of care by providing advice to managers to assist in managing work related health issues.
