Notice Description

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to University of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. HEE commissioned 2 suppliers, to deliver an innovative and flexible services helping Public Health Registrars achieve key area 8 and other relevant learning outcomes of the curriculum. This includes stimulating academic research consideration, in particular in service settings, enabling opportunities for academic teaching, providing an opportunity for peer support, academic reflection, shared learning and career progression. Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) were one of the successful bidders. As part of the initial commission, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust were required to provide a range of information and knowledge services and resources appropriate to the information needs and ways of working of up to 70 Public Health Specialty Registrars in the West Midlands. These services are required to be managed by a professionally qualified Librarian. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the Health Family eTendering portal. If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the eTendering Portal in the first instance within 30 days of the date of this Prior Information Notice.
