Notice Title

Provision of Tech Enabled Care (Telecare)

Notice Description

The contract for Technology Enabled Care Services will support the delivery of high-quality health and care services and integrated pathways, providing seamless care to improve health and wellbeing outcomes enabling people to live independently for as long as possible at home. We live in a digital age, and there are increasing expectations around the use of technology and connectivity. It is also important to understand that in future, technology and connectivity will be far more intrinsically embedded into people's lives, and that we need to build the foundations to provide a different type of offer in Adult Services and Health (ASH) as well as the wider health and care ecosystem to respond to this. The Commissioners are working towards a Technology Enabled Care Service, new processes and technologies to change the operating model, introducing a technology first approach. The Provider will work in partnership with the Service Commissioners to ensure the new service is embedded in to practice and supports a technology first approach. Technology Enabled Care is an evolving service offer and has developed significantly over the past five years. The Provider will work with the Commissioners to ensure there is a smooth and safe transition from a predominately analogue service to a wholly digital service by end of 2025 at the latest. The service will be under constant review and the successful Provider will be required to evolve their service offer throughout the lifetime of this contract and work to maximise the use of the L5G network.
