Academic Readiness: Developing a MOOC to support international students in the UK
Notice Description
The British Council is the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. We work in over 100 countries worldwide to build opportunity and trust for the UK through the exchange of knowledge and ideas between people The British Council would like to commission a UK higher education institution or organisation to develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of academic readiness for international students embarking on degree-level study in the UK. This short preparation course should focus on helping international students prior to undertaking an overseas study opportunity by equipping them with the necessary academic skills needed to succeed in UK higher education. The academic readiness MOOC will be hosted on FutureLearn and should be effective at relaying key information, but at the same time provide an engaging and interactive learning experience.
