Modelling and Appraisal Consultancy - Mass Transit Renewal Full Business Case (FBC)
Notice Description
The objective of this procurement was to appoint a suitable supplier to provide SYMCA's Transport Economics & Modelling team with the transport modelling and economic appraisal required for delivery of the Full Business Case (FBC) for the Mass Transit Renewal Project, making use of the forthcoming South Yorkshire Strategic Transport Model (SYSTM2) as the key analysis tool. The expectation is for the transport modelling and economic appraisal (and financial modelling if included in the Contract) to support the FBC only. The supplier will not be expected to deliver written Strategic, Economic or Financial Dimensions. The Supplier may also be required to update previous financial modelling on the revenue and operating costs of the Mass Transit network up to the end of 2061/62. The Services will be delivered in line with the principles of the DfT's Transport Analysis Guidance (TAG) and HM Treasury's Green Book. This procurement was carried out as further competition via ESPO Consultancy Services 664_25 Framework, Lot 5 - Highways, Traffic and Transport.
