This opportunity falls under the services category, specifically classified as "Grounds maintenance services" and includes tasks such as grass cutting, maintenance of bunkers and greens, and managing shrubs and hedgerows. The tender is currently in the active stage and must be submitted by 22nd November 2019, with the contract set to begin on 6th January 2020 and lasting for one year, with an option to extend up to an additional 12 months, depending on site development plans. With a diverse range of tasks required, firms with experience in managing public spaces, as well as those that can handle both routine and complex maintenance duties, are encouraged to apply. This could be an ideal chance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to expand their portfolio in the East Midlands region.

Notice Title

Opportunity for the Provision of Grounds maintenance for Newbold Comyn Land (Formerly an 18 hole golf course)

Notice Description

Tenders are invited for the supply of Grounds Maintenance for former Golf Course at Newbold Comyn Public Open Space. The successful contractor will have full responsibility for maintaining the land within the defined boundary to a specified level of condition where it could be returned to an acceptable standard to be used as an 18-hole golf course. It would therefore be expected that the grass is cut and maintained at specific heights as would be the case on a functioning golf course. Specific areas, such as bunkers and greens need to have the appropriate attention to keep them at a reasonable level. The management of shrubs, hedgerows and woodland within the boundary will also be included as part of the overall contract. In addition, it would be the responsibility of the contractor to empty the waste bins on regular occasions which are located at numerous points on the land. The contract will be for a period of One [1] year commencing 6th January 2020, with an extension option of up to 12 months. Subject to confirmation of development plans of the site. Extension will be in 3 month increments up to a maximum of 12 months. To Apply for this opportunity please visit and register on www.csw-jets.co.uk
