Notice Description
This opportunity is for Easter Holiday (2024) Activities with Healthy Food for Children in Receipt of Benefits-related Free School Meals. The Council wishes to engage with multiple Providers that can undertake the following in the Easter holidays 2024. This project is to be funded by The Department for Education however the Council is still awaiting confirmation for 2024 therefore this opportunity is subject to receiving DfE grant confirmation. All providers will need to meet DfE framework of standards as below: * Food Provision * Enrichment Activities * Physical Activities * Increasing Awareness of Healthy Eating, healthy lifestyles, and positive behaviours * Signposting and referrals and supporting families * Safeguarding * Policies and Procedures Please note, sessions do not need to be exclusively for children in receipt benefits-related Free School Meals, however the DfE funded element of Fun and Food will only fund children in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals. Alternative funding may be sourced by the organisation to fund children ineligible for DfE funding or parents/carers may be charged for sessions by the activity organisation.
