Notice Description

Department for Education (DfE) will be launching a procurement on 12 January 2026 for a new contract focused on Literacy in Reception, introducing an expanded scope within the existing English Hubs Programme. Since 2018, the DfE has funded the English Hubs Programme to improve literacy in primary schools, with a particular focus on phonics in the Reception Year. As part of the Giving Every Child the Best Start in Life strategy (published 7 July), we are committed to broadening this support to include reading, writing, and early language development.
