Notice Description

* Erect scaffold to front elevation where required. * Take delivery of mewp and scissor lift for rear elevation. * Strip all cladding as required in order to expose all areas of fire barriers in positions indicated on the elevation drawings. Store on site * Cut vertical rails to assist removal of fire barriers and insulation. * Remove old fire barriers * Cut out insulation above and below old fire barriers. * Fit 2no "L" brackets to vertical rails (one above cut and one below cut). * Install AIM galvanised fixing clip & screw as per manufacturers specification. * Install 75mm (60mins) AIM Fire Cavity Barrier to manufacturers specification. Barriers to be installed to window header, jamb and sill to form continuous fire barrier around window opening and intumescent mastic used to close any gaps. Barrier to fully fill cavity and fit tightly to the inside face of the panel. Allow 5% compression in the barrier when installing to ensure a tight fit to panel. * Barrier to be fitted between existing vertical rails and helping hand brackets as required. Rails to be cut/altered as required to allow correct fitting of the barrier. Barrier sections must be butted tightly together on all sides and intumescent mastic used to close any gaps. * Install 75mm (60mins) AIM Fire Cavity Barrier to manufacturers specification to horizontal and vertical party wall/floor lines. Barrier to fully fill cavity and fit tightly to the inside face of the panel. Allow 5% compression in the barrier when installing to ensure a tight fit to panel. * Barrier to be fitted between existing vertical rails and helping hand brackets as required. Rails to be cut/altered as required to allow correct fitting of the barrier. Barrier sections must be butted tightly together on all sides and intumescent mastic used to close any gaps. * Reinstall Trespa panels or fit new (as required) to existing rails where possible. New panels to be like for like replacements. Where not possible fit panels using TS700 visible fixings (powder coated to RAL TBC). Fixings fitted to new Z rail. Rail to be clear of barrier. * Fit new 200mm foil faced insulation above fire barrier to replace old insulation, and tape all joints (not over fire barrier as previous install). * Install fire barrier around 27no duct vents. * Carefully reinstate all cladding to elevations. * Clear site away including all old insulation and fire barriers. * Site compound area to be located in rear service yard.
