Market Engagement - Nursing Homes for Patients eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare
Notice Description
***THIS ADVERT IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT ONLY*** NHS Arden & GEM CSU, on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull CCG are looking to establish a consistent pricing framework for the commissioning of Care Home Services. As part of the process, the commissioner is looking to run a series of workshops. Two events will be held per day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The events will be held on the 16th, 18th and 19th July 2019. During the events providers will be given the opportunity to engage with Commissioners on a one to one basis as well as taking part in a number of workshops including sessions on Quality Assurance Monitoring and Infection Control. There will also be facilitated group sessions where providers will be able to discuss the draft specification. Commissioners will use the discussions they have with providers to inform the way forward in terms of the service specification and pricing models. Commissioners are keen to engage with the various specialist areas of the market, including, but not exclusively: * Homes that specialise in physical disabilities * Homes that specialise in palliative care * Homes that specialise in challenging behaviours There will be 12 places available each day, 6 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Details of the venue are available via Eventbrite where you will be able to book your place. Additional information: Organisations are asked to book a maximum of one ticket across the six available events. They may bring up to three individuals per ticket whose details should be provided when prompted during the booking process.
