Notice Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver community services for East Staffordshire CCG. We are looking for an established, innovative provider, who will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all community services, inclusive of all ages, across the East Staffordshire geographical footprint. The successful provider will need to ensure stability and rigour in the delivery of high quality, sustainable services as they are today, whilst also working to progress towards the vision for integrated community services in the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent STP and the NHS Long Term Plan. The contract is for a period of two years with an option to extend for up to one year. This contract is for a maximum of PS9,166,490 per annum (based on 2019/20 prices) which will be adjusted for future inflation and efficiency in line with NHS national guidance. This is a Block Arrangement which means the overall fixed value will not be adjusted for changes in Activity levels. A bidder event is planned on 20th August at Branston Golf Club, Burton on Trent, DE14 3DP from 10am - 12pm . Accordingly, the contracting authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The procedure which the contracting authorities are following is set out in the ITT documents. Right to Cancel: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to discontinue the procurement process at any time, which shall include the right not to award a contract or contracts, and does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender, or any tender received, and reserves the right to award a contract in part, or to call for new tenders should it consider this necessary. The Contracting Authority shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by any candidate or tenderer in connection with the completion and return of the information requested in this Contract Notice, or in the completion or submission of any tender, irrespective of the outcome of the competition or if the competition is cancelled or postponed. All dates, time periods and values specified in this notice are provisional and the Contracting Authority reserves the right to change these. The successful provider was required to work with other stakeholders across the system to deliver these services and ensure a smooth transition for patients from the current provider. The CCG has conducted an open procurement in 2019 for a two year contract with the option to extend for one year. No successful bids were received. Therefore the CCG has put in place interim arrangements for patient safety for the next twelve months direct with local capable provider(s) whilst the CCG review possible options for the next steps.",
