For HSE to understand whether there is an opportunity for a new product to enter the construction cost estimating software market we would like to understand the following: * The scale/ size of the construction cost estimating software market in the UK, who the main players are and what their market share is * Who currently uses construction cost estimating software market in the UK and what proportion of, the circa one million construction businesses in the UK, that is * Is H&S integral to the product or offered as an additional product i.e. HBXL provides EstimatorXpress and Health & Safety Xpert, why is that * For users: o How did they find out about it and what led them to try it o Why do they use it (motivations) o How do they use it (frequency, situations, other patterns) o What are their referred features of the product o How do they pay for the product, and any price thresholds * For non- users: o why don't they use it (lack of awareness, lack of perceived benefits, price, format/ functionality) o would they consider using a construction estimating software product, why (motivations)
