Summary of the contracting process

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is seeking early market engagement for its "FinOps: Supply Chain Risk Management" project. This procurement process is at the planning stage and focuses on identifying software solutions that provide real-time insights and intelligence on supply chain risks. The primary location is London, with specific delivery addresses in SW1H 0EU. The industry category is data-acquisition systems, and the engagement period ends on 23rd August 2024. Suppliers are encouraged to provide written or recorded information regarding their products, focusing on supplier intelligence, financial health, supply chain transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Participating in this tender presents a substantial growth opportunity for businesses that specialise in supply chain risk management software – particularly those offering cloud-based solutions and real-time risk assessment capabilities. SMEs and VCSEs are particularly encouraged to engage, as the DHSC is interested in understanding the range of solutions these organisations can provide. Information on organisational changes, business performance, environmental and governance issues, financial health, supply chain transparency, and external risk factors are particularly sought after. This engagement phase can pave the way for future collaboration and contract opportunities, making it ideal for businesses aiming to extend their footprint in the public health sector.
