Notice Description

St Helens Council are looking for a provider to offer support over the summer period for a number of Children and Young people from both Special schools and Mainstream schools, approximately 60 children and young people, who have a Special Educational Needs Support and or/ and Education Health and Care Plan. The children will be both primary and secondary school age. A number of young people will require 1:1 support but most will require less support and approximately 13 are wheelchair dependent. Because of the tight timescale, we are looking for creative ideas to offer between 1800 and 2200 hours to the group, over the summer period anytime from end of July 2019 end of August 2019. Please can you include what the service will entail for the young people, how you will staff the provision, what skill set and training the workers will have and your experience in delivering this type of provision in the past.
