Ealing SENDIAS Tender
Notice Description
Ealing Council, in June 2017 will be going out to tender a new Impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice Service (ISENDIAS) for Contract to start in January 2018. The purpose of the ISENDIAS is to promote, support and facilitate where necessary, partnership between children, young people and their families and the Local Authority (LA), Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), schools, health services and voluntary bodies in identifying, assessing and making provision for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. The Outcomes of the service are: * Parents/carers and young people feel better informed about health, care and education services * Parents/carers and young people have improved independence and feel empowered to make decisions * Disagreement resolution and tribunals are a last resort, and the service's skill ensures most cases are resolved amicably. Additional information: Supplier Engagement Event Ealing Council will be holding a supplier engagement event for all interested providers on 10th May 2017 2:30 to 4 pm Perceval House 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL If you are interested in attending please book a space with Danielle Grant-Vest, grantvestd@ealing.gov.uk. (a maximum of two individual per organisation can attend)
