Infrastructure support is the term used to describe the services frontline voluntary and community organisations used to develop as organisations, represent their views and enable them to carry out their activities more effectively. This includes providing a voice for the voluntary and community sector (VCS), facilitating partnerships and raising the profile of the sector with key stakeholders. Voluntary and Community Sector organisations have a vital role to play in public service delivery and effective working within the sector and with other stakeholders is crucial to ensure that public services are planned and delivered to achieve the best possible outcomes for local communities. Developing volunteering in Medway is a crucial part of this service.
