Notice Title

Footfall Counting - Chatham Future High Street Fund

Notice Description

Medway Council ("the Authority") is a unitary authority based in Kent, undertaking all unitary authority duties and administration functions for the Medway Towns, consisting of the main towns of Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, and Rainham. The Authority wishes to procure a footfall counting solution for Chatham Future High Street Fund. Being able to monitor and report on footfall in each of the schemes is one of the most important measures for identifying similar successes or, indeed, shortcomings within the High Street. Furthermore, the impact of COVID-19, the lockdown and ongoing social distancing measures adds new emphasis on the importance of tracking footfall in this area. The Contract, for anonymised data and artificial intelligence technology to identify and track visitors, is anticipated to commence in October 2021. The Authority require dashboards and datasets of Chatham High Street imminently and would need data counts from previous months for comparison.
